It’s the last episode of LNLE. At least for the time being.

Jehan Pagès spoke about the latest major release of GIMP, but forgot to plug the film that he’s working on called ZeMarmot.

Sad to see LNLE go, the interviews have been great. More important not to be constantly stressed though. Looking forward to whatever rises from the ashes.
Sorry to see this branch end, thoroughly enjoedy every episode. You’ve done a lot of excellent work with a lot of excellent partners, perhaps a further iteration could include part-time Paddy from Luddites, Chris from Linux Action News, and dare I say it, Ikey each doing an in-depth coverage of a topic that interests them and can prove informative to us listeners.
No regular schedule, just a little something extra when your wide and varied partners and ex partners can find some time or such. I’d love to hear from each of them about things they find interesting and you would not be so stressed having to produce content each week.
Thanks for all your podcasts, you’ve been a constant source of information and entertainment throughout the years.
Sorry to hear that. Even from the first episode, I had a feeling that this was going to be a struggle to maintain with regular guests (especially in the F/OSS world). Best to experiment it out and end it prematurely before burning out from churning out content and worrying about scheduling issues.
Still, LNL is still my go to podcast as the humor/banter is what sets it apart from other Linux -related podcasts/videos.
Although I really enjoyed the show I think your decision is for the better. On the bright side, you now get more time to invest in other activities, including your current broadcasts.
Same sentiment as the others — I really liked what you did with the LNLE but understand it is not sustainable. I look forward to seeing what else you have in mind and hope we can still see some more interviews in the main LNL show.
Thanks for the interview. Sad to see this show disappear just when I discover it. But honored to be the last interviewee, I guess.
Anyway good continuation on everything!
That’s SO sad to hear 😭
I thought it was an awesome opportunity for project to share their work and get a bit of air time. I understand the challenges but did you consider another format? Perhaps you could just email your questions to the guest and then they could talk from that. Just an idea.
I’m happy to hear that the other show isn’t going anywhere 🙂
