Ikey is back but with Jesse on holiday, it’s a three man show again. VR gaming on Linux, a new Raspberry Pi, Mozilla buying Pocket, Web DRM, Kodi piracy and loads more on LNL 05.

Is your download server on shared hosting or something? I’m getting terrible speeds trying to download these episodes.
It’s something we are working on.
Just FYI, love you guys, first and foremost, and I LOVE that you are on Itunes, I hate Windows but use Itunes to load LateNightLinux on my Ipod Shuffle, so its just so handy to listen to. Please keep up on Itunes, while the Apple Ecosystem is horribly exploitative, that Shuffle can’t be beat.
And on Itunes, you have respectable download speeds. I assume Apple caches stuff.
I think iTunes just points to our server. During the first few hours the server takes a pounding but after that the traffic is more spread out. Usually it maxes out my 200Mb/s connection.
As much as we all hate Apple, we also want to make it as easy as possible for as many people as possible to listen to the show. We have no current plans to remove the show from iTunes.
This seems up Joe’s alley though the keyboard isn’t a slide out:

I’m aware of this but it doesn’t seem like a very practical phone so I’m not buying one.
